Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge also known as DDLJ, is an Indian film romantic drama of 1995. It was written and directed by debutant director Aditya Chopra, produced by his father Yash Chopra, and Shahrukh Khan and Kajol as stars. The film tells the story of a young couple who fall in love with a European vacation, and recounts how the noy tries to win over the girl's parents so that she can marry him instead of the boy  that her father has chosen for her. It was filmed in India, London and Switzerland. Earn more than INR106 crore (US $ 17 million) in India and INR16 crore (US $ 2.6 million) abroad, the film was declared "all Blockbuster times" and became the most Bollywood biggest hit of the year, and one of the biggest Bollywood success ever. on the 1996 awards season, the film won 10 Filmfare Awards, the most for a single movie at that time, and the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing healthy Entertainment. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was classified by Indiatimes Movies among the "25 Must See Bollywood Films." It was one of two Hindi films in the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" list along with Mother India. Also placed twelfth on the list of the best films of all time India of the British Film Institute. The film was declared a blockbuster of all time and remains the longest length film in the history of Indian cinema. From 2014, is still playing at the Maratha Mandir theater in Mumbai, after 1000 weeks
